![]() ![]() The mod features a large rectangular color screen that’s bright and easy to see and looks great. Below the fire button is the screen, and below that are the up and down buttons, as well as a programmable lock slider which is a feature I love. The fire button is a simple circle on the top front of the mod. It definitely feels like it could take some accidental damage and keep ticking. They don’t list a weight for it, so I weighed it myself at 153.5g bare and 249.2g with batteries installed. It looks like a DRAG mod for sure, but mixed with a little more class. Holding the DRAG 4, it really feels like a well-built mod. Price: $59.99 (at Element Vape) Colors: Black & walnut, pale gold & walnut, gunmetal & rosewood, gunmetal & tropical orange, and more. The DRAG 4 mod is rated for a 177-watt output and comes with wooden or resin battery panels and leather backing, while the tank in the kit is the UFORCE-L, which is the latest in the line of UFORCE tanks and uses the PNP coils. This is a fully-fledged dual-18650 mod and sub ohm tank kit-it’s nice to see a more advanced device come out instead of the pods and AIOs that have flooded the market, even though dual-battery mods aren’t as popular as they once were. The DRAG 4 kit is now the latest in the line, so we’ll see if it lives up to the original. The DRAG 2 follow up though was a disappointment, so they lost some goodwill over time but still have a fan base. They burst onto the vape scene with the original DRAG mod, which was widely popular and loved due to being an affordable and well-built device that worked well. Most vapers know who they are by now, but they’ve been kinda hit or miss. ![]() Will you pick the new Drag 3? Share us your thoughts in comments below. The VOOPOO DRAG 4 kit is the latest kit from VOOPOO. ![]() While if you have alreay got a Drag Max, why not just buy a 510 adapter to try the new TPP tank & coils! If you do not have a Drag Max, taking a new Drag 3 is a good choice of course. ![]() The PnP pods are also able to work on this base. Meanwhile, the TPP tank is a combination of a TPP pod and a base, connected via the strong magnets. For the performance, I believe it takes time to verify though VOOPOO stated the new TPP is excellent. VOOPOO released their new TPP atomizer system in the Drag 3, and the new TPP coils do not work on PnP pods, same with the PnP coils, they do not work on the new TPP tanks. And they are the same in below points: same size, same 2x 18650 cell, same 177W max, same chipset, same screen & USB C, same layout.Īnother difference we can talk about is the tank/pod and the coils. The materials are the same just with different colors. And for the working modes, as the Drag Max was designed for PnP pods, VOOPOO did not add Super & TC modes on it though they can. While when it comes to the differences between the Drag 3 and Drag Max, that’s another story.įor the mods, they are almost the same, except the pod/tank connection part – Drag 3 uses the standard 510 thread to match all kinds of 510 tanks, while Drag Max only accepts VOOPOO PnP pods and needs a third party adapter to match 510 tanks. The differences between the Drag 3 and Drag 2 are very clear, including the chipset, working modes, screen and tanks. ![]()
